Making Money using Revver

11 January 2009 No Comment

For most people who do not know, Revver is a video hosting website like Youtube, but also providing a money-making option.

Youtube is the most popular (so far) video sharing website out there, but does not give you any money-making option. Revver bridges this gap by adding a clickable ad to the end of movies or videos you upload on them. For every click that comes out of your video, you can get $0.70 on an average. This is much better than an adsense ad put on a video site.

Revver has a help page which will tell you more of the options you have in setting it up.

Here are some ways by which you can use Revver to make money.

1) Upload videos: As said above, every video that you upload can get you money if someone clicks on the ad in the end. Make it interesting, make it viral, and you have an automatic money-making video for the life of it. Just like a blog post, you can email, embed, digg, stumble and use other sharing methods to send your video to multiple people. If your video is good and people watch it till the end, you have better chances of getting paid.

2) Be a video publisher: If you don’t have your own videos, you can host other people’s videos on your site. The royalty you get paid is smaller, but in good numbers, it would be very much worth it.
